Company

Inception & Structure

Promoted in 1989 by 3 senior executive of India's largest IT Group. The executive promoters left XXX as Executive Director, CAD/CAM Division; General Manager, Marketing & Sales, CAD/CAM Division; Senior General Manager, Instruments Division.

Currently they are functionally responsible as

•  Chairman & CEO, and Director, Consultancy and Services Group (CSG), which focuses on overseas services
•  Director Marketing & Sales, Design Automation Group (DAG), which focuses on domestic production
   distribution, customization, and turnkey GIS/FM projects

•  Director Operations, accountable for Finance & Accounts, HR, and Administration

Financial

•  Sales Revenue 1999 - 2000 of Rs. 340 million

Technologies

•  The Company is the principal national distributor of Autodesk Inc., USA, and IBM ETS (for CATIA), and
   several other leading technology vendors.

•  Domestic distribution and services relate to Autodesk, IBM and related third-party products. International
   consultancy and services are platform-neutral.

Infrastructure

•  Manpower: 135 graduate/masters engineers, out of a total of 184 people
•  Offices: H.O. at Delhi. Other offices at Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Calcutta. 
    In Q3, 2000, a wholly-owned subsidiary in USA, and a branch office in Japan are scheduled.

•  Software Technology Parks (STP): Govt. of India approved STP unit status was obtained in March, 2000,
   for the offshore services production centers at Bangalore (mechanical, electronic cataloguing) and Delhi
   (GIS and Multimedia).

•  Reseller Network: 54 vertically specialized Resellers at 45 towns.

•  A large automotive tier-1 vendor at Detroit, USA , a global engineering company at Houston, USA, 
   and a large aerospace company in Germany and India's largest heavy electrical company for 
   mechanical CAD data conversion and parametric modeling.

•  A large German telecom company for MapInfo integration with Oracle for customized CRM applications.
•  A leading Dutch service provider for thematic flora data creation for a part of Holland.
•  Digital Photogrammetry for a large service provider at Tokyo, Japan.
•  5 Indian State Electricity Boards, and Delhi Telephones for GIS/FM applications.
•  Ministry of Tourism, India, for GIS-enabled tourist touch-screen kiosks at major cities, and 
   QTVR CDs for two historical monuments.
